Personal Chef Lori Lewis

For years I have had an interest in cooking and preparing meals for others.  I believe it all started as a child when my specialties were created in the backyard sandbox.  This desire led me into the kitchen and gave me a much better variety of edible items for experimenting.  From watching my Great Grandmother and Grandmother bake and cook from scratch I retained a great wealth of information that I now apply in my own kitchen.

After becoming a causality of the Tech boom, I decided to return to school and pursue a degree in Culinary Arts, a profession that I have enjoyed for more than 15 years.

As a former working mother and student myself, I have first hand experience of sitting at a fast food restaurant or standing in the long grocery store line at 5:30 wishing there was  another option.  From this experience I decided that becoming a Personal Chef was the career I most desired.  What better way to serve others than to be able to prepare a healthy, home cooked meal that is ready and waiting for them when they arrive home after a long day in the office and a tiring drive in traffic?

I have a certificate in Hospitality Management, have trained under many knowledgeable chefs in school and in the food service industry.  I continue to attend culinary classes to complete my degree in Culinary Arts.  I am an active member of Women Chefs and Restaurateurs.
